House A,B is a two-story house with a design that considers the oscillations between human and computer vision. The project translates the physical form of a cube into a digital environment. A,B 1:2 is an installation that operates on House A,B. The house is enlarged 48 times and sliced in half to open a window into the interior. This jump in scale emphasizes the relationship between spatial organization and occupancy. The installation suppresses traditional notions of domesticity that rely on finishes to define boundaries by integrating objects associated with domestic spaces (window dressings, furniture, etc.) into a uniformly gray paper surface varying only in degrees of exactness.
